Britt Sims
Ph.D., BCBA, LBA
Executive Director
Britt is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and holds a Ph.D. in Special Education. He specializes in direct 1:1 ABA therapy, school consultation, and parent training for families/schools with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and other developmental disorders. His teaching is rooted in both Applied Behavior Analysis and Applied Verbal Behavior, to target the many aspects of functional development such as increasing joint attention and functional communication skills, and teaching the foundational skills necessary for progressive learning. He also specializes in the analysis and treatment of severe challenging behaviors.
Britt obtained both his Master' in Applied Behavior Analysis and Ph.D. in Special Education through Texas Tech University. The emphasis of his Ph.D. was in Psych and Leadership, which he uses to help schools build special education systems and departments. He founded Integrated Behavior Solutions, Inc. in 2011 out of a desire to provide critical ABA services to families in San Antonio. He is a proud father of 3 boys, 2 girls, a stepson, and a stepdaughter with his wife, Dr. Renée Matos.
Heather Basham
M.Ed., BCBA, LBA
Clinical Director
Heather is a Behavior Analyst, and received her certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board in 2011. She is a 2010 Graduate of Sam Houston State University where she earned a Masters Degree in Special Education, specializing in Low Incidence Disabilities and Autism. Heather also has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. In 2008, Heather began working in the field of ABA by providing 1:1 therapy for children with autism. Her experience includes working with a wide variety of children with different abilities. Heather places a heavy emphasis on teaching play activities and social interactions. Since then, she has had a passion for increasing language, effective and individualized parent training and include community settings as part of every therapy.
Lara Ellis
M.Ed, BCBA, LABA
Training Manager
Lara is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a master's degree in Spec Ed with a concentration in ABA from Texas Tech University (wreck ‘em). Her journey with ABA started by receiving her undergraduate degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from UNT in 2011, and she became certified with her BCaBA in 2013. Lara is Integrated Behavior Solutions’ training manager, specializing in RBT training and crisis management (Safety-Care Certified Trainer). She has been with IBS since June of 2015. Lara married the love of her life in 2019 and she and her husband are obsessed with their fur baby, Nacho! In her free time, Lara enjoys going to music festivals, horror movies, all things true crime, Whataburger, penguins, and of course - analyzing data.
Emma Getic
M.S., BCBA, LBA
Clinical Supervisor
Emma began working in this field in 2007 while pursuing her Master’s degree in mental health counseling. After trying her hand in the counseling field, she discovered her passion remained in the field of applied behavior analysis and she returned to school, completing a second master’s degree in Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2019. Emma’s field experience includes in-home, community and clinic settings working closely with families, community members and various therapists in OT, PT and ST. She also takes pride in the many years she spent advocating for her clients and their families in the school system.
Originally from NJ, Emma moved to San Antonio with her two children in 2015 and feels she has finally found her home with Integrated Behavior Solutions. Her long term goals include providing the best personalized services to children on the autism spectrum and their families as a board certified behavior analyst at IBS Inc.
Christine Scott
Christine is a Licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA, LBA) who graduated from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley with a Master’s of Arts in Experimental Psychology and a concentration in ABA. A RGV native, Christine moved to San Antonio in 2010 to pursue a career in applied behavior analysis. It wasn’t until 2014 that Christine found a company whose values and principles truly aligned with hers; she has been with that company ever since. Christine is passionate about the families she serves and strives to provide integrated collaboration across parents, SLPs, OTRs, physicians, teachers, and/or other specialists.
Christine is married with two dogs, Cooper and Coco Chanel. During her free time, she enjoys watching horror and true crime films/shows, reading by the pool, and indulging her dogs with toys, treats, and affection.

Heaven Fernandez

Heaven attended Valdosta State university pursuing her bachelor’s degree in psychology. In May 2019, She came across ABA first hand and saw how impactful the field was. Heaven found Integrated Behavior Solutions and “fell in love with the company and their morals”. Heaven completed her Masters in psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis becoming a supervisee and future BCBA. Heaven enjoys helping her clients reach their full potential even if that means being as silly as can be to find her clients motivation. She loves the positive impact that she can help give to her clients/families and strives for nothing but the best for the families she works with. Heaven's journey in ABA is just getting started with learning and providing knowledge for all individuals within the autism community.
