Lara Ellis

Training Manager

Lara grew up in San Antonio and moved to Denton, TX in 2007 to pursue her bachelor’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of North Texas. Lara studied under the instruction of several incredible, published behavior analysts who helped shape her attitudes and understanding of the science of behavior. Her passion for aba and working with children with disabilities led her to work at an in-home aba company in the Dallas/FT Worth area while pursuing her certification as a Board Certified/Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst. Lara has over 8 years of experience with aba therapy. Lara settled back in San Antonio in 2015, close to her family and friends. She has been with Integrated Behavior Solutions ever since! Lara’s joy comes from the interactions and friendships she has with her coworkers, clients, and their families, training behavior technicians and supporting their education in aba, and helping children reach their full potential. In her free time, Lara loves to spend time with family and friends, go to festivals/concerts, quote movie/tv show lines, and most importantly, sing. Lara has spent time in several choirs and praise/worship teams, but her fondest memories are those spent around the piano with her mother and grandmother. Lara is engaged to be married in the fall and looks forward to her life with her amazing fiancé, Michael, and adorable dog, Nacho! Lara’s goal at Integrated Behavior Solutions is to provide aba services that cater to each client’s individual needs, create a positive and comfortable rapport with clients and families, and to bring hope and knowledge to those within all aspects of the autism community.
