Christine Gutierrez Scott

Christine is a Behavior Analyst and received certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) in 2013. She earned a Masters of Arts in Experimental Psychology with an emphasis on applied behavior analysis from The University of Texas-Pan American (UTPA), now The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. She received double Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Sociology in 2008 from UTPA.
Christine started in the field of ABA in 2010 providing 1:1 therapy to children with autism and related disorders. Christine’s training specialized in early intervention and challenging behavior. Her interests include verbal behavior therapy, functional communication training, and motivating operations. Christine spent 2 ½ years at a multi-disciplinary clinic where she worked alongside speech, occupational, and physical therapists. She is passionate about collaborating with both families and rehab therapists (ST, OT, PT) for the overall betterment of the individuals she provides services to. An individual’s family involvement is critical and encouraged in order to adapt ABA as a lifestyle change for the positive effects that it has on individuals and their interactions with their families.
Christine married her best friend, Darryl, in October 2013. They currently reside in San Antonio, TX with their dog Cooper.
